404s arent necessary bad for SEO, but if it is a continuous issue and keeps showing up in Search Console, then you have 2 options. 1) 301 redirect the url to another relevant page on your site, or 2) output a 410 instead of a 404, this will tell search engines to stop trying to find the page, its completely gone and never coming back.
