Especially if you are working with totally clueless bosses or clients who just leave it up to you, on your own, with highly limited resources and then expect a million bucks result at the promised deadline of a project. Those people will hardly ever listen to your needs upfront and will have a million excuses for not doing so. It takes some stress-resistance to be a successful SEO, you will be talked down, you will be stomped at under the table at meetings (I kid you not, I stood up ethically and warned of certain things, and the next thing a client&#039;s manager did to me was stomping my foot so hard, it hurt badly for a couple of days...) you will not get your money for months on end and still have to work, it&#039;s a slave world I tell ya until you are a famous house-slave with a portfolio to back it up, a semi-slave master who can then enjoy some degree of freedom or move on out on his own. That is at least my experience...
